BUSINESS MANAGER / SECRETARY-TREASURER
Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, and a painter by trade, Bully is a 24 year veteran. He enjoys volunteering at community projects and continues to serves as a mentor to all. Bully has held positions ranging from Business Agent, Director of Organizing and Assistant BMST.
DRYWALL TAPERS BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE / DIRECTOR OF SERVICING
Initiated into Local 1944 in 1975, John started his career as an apprentice and later was promoted to a foreman and then a supervisor. He has served in many capacities - Trustee, Vice President, President, Training Coordinator and Instructor. John currently serves as the DC50 President.
PAINTERS BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE / DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZING
Robin is a 21 year member Local 1791. His expertise in the painting industry has allowed him to oversee projects that included public, industrial and commercial work. He is currently the Vice President of the District Council and serves as a painting instructor.
GLAZIERS BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE
Dwayne is a second generation glazier and has been a union member for the past 39 years. A St. Louis High School graduate, he enjoys mentoring up and coming apprentices and takes pride in sharing the values of being a union member.
FLOOR LAYERS BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE
Doug is a 21 year member of LU 1926. He has worked as a warehouseman, apprentice, journeyman and foreman. Doug has also served as an Organizer.
Juan has 17 years of industry experience and has been a member of the LU 1944 since 2007. He has worked on various projects, ranging from residential subdivision to commercial drywall finishing.
DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT AFFAIR
Before arriving at the District Council, Lorna worked at the Hawaii State Capitol as the Senate Assistant Clerk. She brings a wealth of legislative experience and is 14 year member with LU 1791.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSISTANT
Jake is a wonderful addition to the DC50 team. As a young person growing up in the construction industry, he understands the importance of the trades. Jake has the experience and is able to assist members with any questions.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSISTANT Vanessa's positive attitude and "can do" spirit is an asset to DC50. She is willing and able to assist members with any administrative questions.
ASSISTANT TO THE BMST/OFFICE MANAGER
Chelsea is the backbone of the District Council and possesses vast institutional knowledge. She is a proud member of LU 1791 and has previously served as the Painters Financial Secretary and Business Representative.
DIRECTOR OF TRAINING
Sean is a proud member of the Glaziers Union for 18 years. He is also the President of Local 1889 and previously has served as the Glaziers Training Coordinator, Warden, Recording Secretary.
PAINTERS TRAINING COORDINATOR
Breanne is a graduate of the University of Hawaii, at Manoa, with a degree in Economics. Before joining the DC50 Team, she worked as a Fiscal Administrator at the University of Hawaii Foundation.
GLAZIERS TRAINING COORDINATOR
Oly has been in the Glazing industry for 28 years, and a 16 year member of Local 1889. He currently serves as Financial Secretary if Local Union 1889.
FLOOR LAYERS TRAINING COORDINATOR
Pat is a second generation union Floor Layer and a 27 year veteran of the trade. He is the current President of Local Union 1926.
DRYWALL TAPERS TRAINING COORDINATOR
Mario was inducted into the Tapers union in 1990 and has held many positions on the executive board: Trustee, Recording Secretary, Financial Secretary, and is currently the newly elected President of Local Union 1944.
Lesley hails from the island of Hawaii and graduated with a Communications degree from Hawaii Pacific University. Prior to joining DC50, she was the Assistant Manager for Consolidated Theaters.
